In 2016 Lay’s opened up a metaphorical vault full of old potato chips and brought back some of their All-Star flavors to shelves around America. To support the return of these Flavor All-Stars we teamed up with culinary influencers The Brothers Green and produced a series of Facebook livestreams featuring each of the re-released flavors – complete with music, cooking and a chance to win prizes live. After the success of the livestreams we continued to push the fun with a Snapchat and Instagram campaign focused on real-life social media comments on the return of the Flavor All-Stars. Several attempts to include Smashmouth’s song All-Star in the ads never really got off the ground.
