For Lay’s fourth year asking consumers to
submit their best ideas for potato chip flavors we wanted to really drive home the
$1,000,000 prize attached to the Do Us A Flavor promotion, as well as continue
to highlight the simple fact that inspiration is all around you. So we created
a series of spots, directed by Jamie Babbit (Girls, Silicon Valley, But I’m A Cheerleader), showing various answers
to the question “What would you do with a million dollars?”
We also extended the campaign to some reletively newer formats. Producing six second Snapchat interstitials and YouTube bumpers that highlight ideas for more unexpected flavors.
